🚀 Our Mission
Unleashing Creativity.
bld4me is a DIY PC knowledge base built for gamers and creators who want a PC that actually fits what they do.
A PC isn’t only a tool—it’s how you build, play, learn, and ship your work.
But PC building is still full of hidden rules: compatibility traps, unclear performance claims, and advice that depends on who you ask.
bld4me exists to make those decisions clearer—so you can spend less time researching and more time using your PC.
💡 What We Solve
1. Simplifying Complexity
Modern PC building involves thousands of parts, countless combinations, and rapidly changing prices.
bld4me organizes that complexity into structured guides and decision-friendly formats, so you can reach a build plan quickly and confidently.
2. Data-Driven Decision Making
bld4me supports parts selection with evidence rather than intuition.
We maintain an internal dataset of GPU specifications and publicly available performance results, and use a game-aware estimation approach to suggest realistic target performance ranges for common settings and resolutions (results vary by system).
3. Commitment to Data Accuracy
Data accuracy is the lifeblood of our database. Especially when it comes to benchmark scores, we build them using a proprietary, in-house screening algorithm that rigorously eliminates statistical noise from thousands of publicly available data points—such as performance drops caused by inadequate cooling, or, conversely, results recorded during overclocking with extreme sub-zero cooling.
For example, our scoring correctly reflects many vendor-specific “design quirks” and generation-to-generation differences in real numbers—like AMD GPUs often outperforming NVIDIA in DirectX 11 workloads, or Intel Arc GPUs closing in on higher-tier models in the latest DirectX 12 environments. Instead of relying on simple averages that bury these nuances, we set benchmark scores only after bringing each GPU’s true character into clear focus.
From the latest flagship cards to legendary classics from past generations, every score must be logically explainable. That is the data standard this site is proud to uphold.
🧭 How We Work
- Clear assumptions: We state what a recommendation is based on (resolution, settings, ray tracing, upscalers).
- Transparent methodology: When numbers are estimates, they are labeled as estimates and grounded in published data and specifications.
- Shareable outputs: Key tables and quick summaries are formatted so they can be referenced in communities like Reddit and Discord without losing context.
